Both President Johnson and Bob Hope get upstaged by a couple of young comics --- and they love it! Donnie and Ronnie Cooper, age 6 are the Easter Seal Twins this year and they open the annual drive for Crippled Kids by doing headstands in the President's office. Washington DC President Johnson and Bob Hope crouch down on their knees to get to eye lever with the two physically challenged twin boys. Bob Hope "These are our two poster kids for the Easter Seal campaign. This is ... are you Ronnie?" Boy - No I'm Donnie Bob Hope - That's a pretty good guess wasn't it? Puts the other microphone in front of the boy's face, "And your name is what? Boy replies... Yes I'm Ronnie and your, your? Boy replies... Donnie Bob Hope - Looks at them and says... Your putting me on? aren't you? The one little boy shakes his head no... Bob Hope - I think your having me , I'm in a..... you're cutting me up... I'm sitting between two comics, here, and this is Miss Kay Bower. You're doing a lot of wonderful work with the Easter Seal campaign all these years, and we just presented the President with this book.
