Just what the doctor ordered for those of us who are being nipped by winter's breezes. At Makaha Beach in Hawaii it's the world surfboard championships with Midget Farelly of Australia defending his world title. Heavy seas push in 25-foot waves and when the commotion dies it's Joe Cabell who brings the title back to the U.S. Surfers compete in contest, and many wipe out. Hawaii Beautiful landscape. MOHS - Young men caring their surfboards. MS - Surfboard enthusiast sitting and standing on the beach ready to watch the sports event to take place. MS - High rolling waves and one lone surfer riding the wave. MS - Surfers wiping out in the huge surf. MS - Two surfers riding the same wave and they ride that wave to the end.
