From the Midwest to the eastern seaboard, the winter's worst snow storm threw an icicle into the wheels of progress. As the near-blizzard blows out to sea the back-breaking job of digging out is begun. Family cars are rescued, side walks and streets are cleared and once more traffic, trains and planes begin to move. City side streets, unplowed packed with snow and the card covered with snow. MLS - Cars stranded off the road. CUS - Car totally engulfed in a blanket of snow. CUS - People shoveling their cars out of an encasement of snow. MS - Kennedy Air Port, a passenger plane sitting on the tarmac, a huge snow blower clearing up some of the snow.
