A 200 car "Demolition Derby" at Islip, New York, makes a figure eight track the site of madness and mayhem. Points are given for spectacular crashes. Stunt drivers leap over ramps onto parked cars, roar along on two wheels, and drive through fire. MS There are 200 automobiles on the figure 8 race track in Islip, New York. The cars go around the track with speed and mayhem and it's called "A Demolition Derby". One car is turned around and another car slams into it. A woman and two adolescent boys watch the derby from behind a fence, holding it with amused amazement. Cars are slamming into each other turning around and smashing into other cars. A boy in the stands pops up from his seat to watch with a huge smile. Car driving on two tires. A car drives up a ramp and lands on the top of cars.
