The Province of Manitoba beats Alberta in the Great Montreal to New York Canoe Race. Ten, six-men canoes cover the 470 mile journey to publicize Canada's World's Fair "EXPO '67" as part of the Canadian Centennial. The paddlers are Eskimo, Indian, and Canadian woodsmen.
