Marines use Vietnam church as emergency hospital, casualties, medics work. Wounded lie in pews; outside church Marines prepare for evacuation. Rescue chopper lands in field; wounded are brought to choppers. Establishing shot - A small Catholic Church somewhere in the back fields of South Vietnam, "An Wa"? Marines approaching the little church. High Angle shot - Marines carrying their wounded comrads approaching the church. CU - Two Marines and a wounded soldier in the middle making their way into the church for shelter, holding their rifles. Shots inside the church - Soldier laying on a pew, another soldier sitting in the aisle and another soldier laying on the floor. CU - Medics tending to a wounded soldier, the medic inserted an IV in the soldier's arm ( he is laying on the floor). Low Angle shot - A statue of Sacred Heart of Jesus.(the statue's right hand is missing) Medium shot from the back of the church - The inside of the church is filled up with soldiers suffering from battle fatigue, dirty from fighting, wounded and emotionally drained Marines. Exterior shot - Enemy fire, you see the explosions in the distance through the trees, a non-stop bombardment from the Vietcong air force. Low Angle shot - A statue, The Virgin Mary and Jesus. Exterior shot - Two days later the Marines evacuate the dead and wounded, a dead Marine covered being moved out of the church on a stretcher. MS - Two Marines walking , in the background the little Catholic Church. MS - Rescue chopper landed to evacuate the dead, and wounded . MS - Marines running to the Rescue helicopter carry wounded soldiers. MS - Rescue helicopter taking off.
