Amateur clowns tryout for one-week with the Biggest Big Show, the circus at Madison Square Garden. The winner: Mrs. Claire Manley, a housewife who's wanted to run away with the circus for a century Female amateur clown (Claire Manley) wearing tuxedo running through cooking routine that employs a dose of magic, producing a hen from a shallow cooking pot that was empty a moment before. Four clowns (Tom Bebe and sons) pulling rubber chicken from large steel pot; they place the chicken back into the pot, stir the contents for a spell, when the youngest clown troupe member pops his head from the pot, giving everyone a shock. Judges, including a professional clown in full make-up, reviewing papers at table. Tom Bebe and sons waiting anxiously for announcement.
