Jim Ryun of Kansas University is in second place.The 19-teen year old steps on the gas and laps the entire field, opening up an incredible lead. Jim rounds the corner of the track. The crowd is applauding and cheering on his lead. Jim Ryun crosses the finish line. He won finishing 3-minutes, 58 and 8/10ths seconds, a new meet record. This is his fastest indoor mile time of the year.
