24-Hour Cycle Race Thrills Spain
45 Teams start in a day and night race and it's a thriller around the clock. The British take a commanding lead during the night, but the Italians catch up at dawn and continue on to win.... From across the speedway track the racers run across it and the first is to jump on their motorcycles and take off. One guy didn't get his motorcycle started and he is running down the track with his bike. There is an accident on the second lap but the rider seems to be ok then out of no where comes a biker and hits him, he is laying on his stomach as mechanics rush to give him first aid. The ambulance techs carry him off to the ambulance, he seems to be ok. The racers spring around the track as they approach a bend their almost on their sides taking the corners. Day turns into evening and they are still racing around the track. Italy wins, the two team members on top of someone s shoulders holding hands.

Poland Celebrates: Military Display Marks Nazi Defeat
Poland celebrates the end of German occupation twenty years ago and it's a springboard to extol their Communist regime. The honor guest is Premier Khrushchev who came to Warsaw expecting to hold a meeting of East Europe Communist leaders. However, Romania wouldn't show up and Khrushchev found himself trying to quiet the demands of satellites for more independence. So there are cracks in the facade mounted by the parade of rockets and military might. This is an aerial shot looking down at the Polish air force flying in an X formation. The crowd of mostly women looking up to the sky watching the Polish air force fly in formation. A formation of bombers flying in perfect formation. Premier Nikita Khrushchev and other Russian Dignitaries waving to the crow of spectators. Polish army marching in review, they are doing the goose step. The Reds bring in their armory to show off in the parade more than likely to intimidate the Polish people. Russian tanks housing war missals. Tanks driving towards the camera. He was assigned to create a million-dollar wardrobe for Dee playing the role of " the richest girl in the world" in "I'd Rather Be Rich". Dee models glamorous gowns, pants outfits lingerie and a wild raincoat made of snakeskin lined with chinchilla fur. Man looking at samples of fabric that are in a designers book. Sandra Modeling a long coat off white, buttons down the front, sleeves and collar lined with a tan mink fur. A dark tan suede coat lined with fox fur. A diamond studded evening gown made of jersey knit with a rounded neck accented by a lovely diamond chock necklace. Sandra is wearing a gold embroidered Raja coat and tapered trousers. For an evening at home Sandra is wearing a red velvet hostess pajamas with a leopard skin vest that goes all the way to the floor. No wardrobe is complete with this long ultra-feminine negligee with long sleeves trimmed with blue dyed fox fur, empire bodice a rounded neck. She is wearing a sleeveless emerald green chiffon negligee with a empire bodice, the peignoir that lays over the negligee has hundreds of ruffley pedal flowers. Sandra comes out on the floor with a shinny, glittering snake skin coat complimented with long black boots and a chinchilla fur hood. Sandra opens the coat to expose the chinchilla lined coat.

Fabulous Fashions. When they stage a Fashion Show at Universal City it's no bargain basement affair - the models, jewels and gowns arrive by armored car! The show is presented the Los Angeles chapter of Theta Sigma Phi, the women's journalism sorority. It's all for Charity as 52 designers theme their brain-children to the title of Sandra Dee's latest movie" "I'd Rather Be Rich". You'd have to be to afford fancy duds like these. This is a fashion show that is held outside on the Universal lot, a runway is set up and you see a model walking on the catwalk. It looks like its pretty crowded too. Sandra Dee and the Director of the movie 'I'd Rather be Rich' director. A tall model gets out of a van wearing a unique inspired style dotted with jewels. Sandra Dee looking at dress. Agnes Moorehead is seen in the audience and at the same table seated behind Agnes is Lauren Bacall. Sandra Dee trys on necklace. The next model is wearing denim jeans and stylish beaded linen / rayon blend blouse. Model is wearing a two tone V-neck bathing suit with diamonds sewn on. The next model has a tiger print, hip hugging loose leg pants, with a tiger print bandeau with spaghetti straps, and when it gets cold she has a tiger stripped jacket to keep her warm. For that time period this bathing suit was pretty daring. It looks like it could be sheer rayon chiffon, with the jewels sewn on strategic places on the bust line the bottom of the suit is a silk box leg cut. All the models come on to the cat walk showing off some of the exquisite feminine gowns, bathing suits and lingerie.
