Spring Plowing
Spring Plowing MS horses and plough, moving through orchard of cherry trees in full bloom. Blossoms on trees are very pretty, and the shot follows the process across a long pan, showing the old-fashioned plow, and the farmer in overalls driving the team. Nice lingering shot with lovely color suggesting spring plowing and low-tech farming.
Steel Foundry
Steel Foundry CU molten metal pouring into vat in steel or iron foundry. Lots of sparks flying, and the river of flaming metal glows with a sinister red/orange. WS foundry floor with numerous vats, some empty and dark, others glowing. Spout in distance pours molten metal from one vat down to another, with a great show of sparks. MS worker at smaller tub of melted iron or steel, turning a wheel to pour it gently into a mold.
Xmas Story; A Bright Picture Around The World
The Christmas season is a bright one around the Free World. Shopping is a task for the brave as stores are crowded with Santa's helpers. People walk down crowded city streets and children look at Christmas window displays. In Germany, for example, the streets are bright with Christmas lights. A tree is decorated on the Free Side of the Wall of Shame. New York, NY Down town New York heavy with Christmas shoppers. MS - A few people standing taking in the sight of a decorated Christmas window. MCUS - Father holding his little boy in his arms. MCUS - A Christmas tree made up of all lights. MS - Inside a department store. Germany CUS - West Germany, the Berlin Wall, "The Wall of Shame" MS - On the free side of the wall, a Christmas Tree with lights. MCUS - US army men fixing up toys for the children. MCUS - A small crowd of Children looking at the toys. CUS - Santa Claus animated face.

Roger Staubach, one of the football greats of modern times, receives the Heisman Trophy as the nation's outstanding college football player. He earned the reward for his performances quarterbacking the Navy in one of its best seasons. New York, NY At the Downtown Athletic Club, Navy Quarterback, Roger Staubach receives the Heisman Trophy. MOHS - Navy playing Duke University, he passes the football and it is caught . MSOH - Roger has the ball and he has nowhere to throw it, so he tucks the ball in tightly and runs the ball in for a touchdown
FLOOD DISASTER Dam Break Damage Reaches $15 Million
Remarkable pictures made from a KLTA helicopter as the Baldwin Hills dam in Los Angeles gives way and sends 300,000,000 gallons of water roaring down the valley. Thousands of homes are ruined beyond repair of severely damaged. People clean up. Authorities had several hours to warn the residents and only three lives were lost. What caused the break? There are several theories, but it will be up to the courts to decide who pays the damage - if anyone. Los Angeles, California Aerial shot of the big hole that's in the dam and the water is rushing out. MCUS - With a mighty roar the wall of the dam collapses and hundred of tons of water go rushing through the residential area. Aerial shot - You can see the force of the water crashing into the homes and making big huge sprays of water. Aerial shot - The cars that are pick up and carried away with this big force of water is absolutely amazing, the cars are tossed around like toy plastic toy cars. Aerial shot - As the water subsides you can see this huge hole in the dam wall where the force of the water broke its way through and there is nothing left except tons of mud and complete devastation. MS - Several people looking at the complete destruction of a home the complete inside is a wash out. Nothing there. MS - Most houses on this street are gone, washed away the other houses that are left, are in shambles.
The Sinatra Story: Kidnapper Caught, Ransom Recovered
Third act curtain in the Sinatra kidnap drama. The FBI arrest three accused kidnappers of Frank Sinatra, Jr., and recovers most of the ransom money. All within three days. It's a happy ending to what might have been a tragedy. Los Angeles, California FBI agents searching a house and the grounds of a home in Los Angeles. MS - Four men walking down a hallway, three of the men are FBI agents and the fourth one is one of the kidnappers, Barry Keenan. MCUS - Another kidnapper, Joseph Amsler, walking with FBI agents. MS - Most of the money demanded by the kidnapers is laying and spread out on a desk top. MCUS - Frank Sinatra at his Bell Aire home, it looks like he's walking down a driveway and there is a lot of press surrounding him. MS - Frank Jr. with his mother and his sister Nancy.
